1. Dinah wey be Leah daughter wey she born for Jacob go out to visit di daughters of di land.
2. Shechem, son of Hamor di Hivite (di ruler of di land), see Dinah, take am by force, sleep with her and disgrace her.
3. But e heart still love Dinah, and e talk to her gently.
4. Shechem beg him papa Hamor say, “Abeg help me marry this girl.”
5. When Jacob hear say dem rape Dinah, him daughter, he keep quiet until him sons come back from bush.
6. Hamor come meet Jacob to talk about di matter.

8. Hamor try talk say, “My son Shechem love your daughter. Make una give am to am as wife.”

27. Jacob other sons join, enter di dead town, loot everything because of wetin dem do to their sister.
28. Dem carry sheep, cow, donkey, and everything inside and outside di town.
29. Dem take all di people women and children, carry all di wealth.
30. Jacob tell Simeon and Levi, “Una don bring wahala for me. Now di people around go hate me and attack me. I no get enough men to fight dem.”
31. But dem answer Jacob say, “So make dem treat our sister like prostitute?”
