1. God come test Abraham. E talk, “Abraham!” Abraham talk, “I dey here.”
2. God talk, “Carry your pikin wey you love, Isaac, go the land wey I go show you. For there, make you sacrifice am for me.”
3. Abraham wake up early, prepare for journey, carry Isaac and wood for sacrifice, and waka go the place God talk.
4. For the third day, Abraham see the place far.
5. Abraham tell his servants, “Una remain here. Isaac and me go worship, then we go come back.”
6. Abraham carry wood for sacrifice put for Isaac, carry fire and knife.
7. Isaac ask, “Papa, I see fire and wood, but where the lamb for sacrifice?”
8. Abraham answer, “God go provide lamb for sacrifice, my pikin.”
9. Dem reach the place God talk. Abraham build altar, arrange wood, bind Isaac, put am for altar.
10. Abraham lift knife to kill Isaac.
11. Angel of God shout from sky, “Abraham! Abraham!”
12. Abraham talk, “I dey here.”

15. Abraham take ram sacrifice instead of Isaac.
16. Angel talk, “Because you do this, God go bless you and your pikin dem. Your pikin dem go get many people like stars for sky and sand for sea.”
17. “All nations for earth go bless themselves because of your pikin.”
18. Abraham go back with Isaac, and dem return home.
19. Abraham live long time after, have other pikin dem.
20. After these things, Abraham’s family start say dem marry for the land of the east.
21. Abraham marry Keturah, and she bear am six pikin.
22. Dem pikin names be: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.
23. Jokshan born Sheba and Dedan.
24. Dem pikin grow well and spread around the land.
